The Sand is a natural granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles. Composition of sand is highly variable, depending on the source rocks and local conditions, but the most common constituent of sand in inland continental settings and non-tropical coastal settings is silica (silicon dioxide, or SiO₂), usually in the form of quartz.

The second most common form of sand is Calcium Carbonate, for example, aragonite, which was mostly made during the last half billion years, through various forms of life such as corals and mollusks. It is usually used as a calcium supplement or as an antacid medical.

Calcium Oxide (CaO), commonly known as burnt lime and is a chemical compound which is used on a large scale. It is a white solid alkaline crystalline at room temperature. Calcium containing inorganic materials which are carbonates, oxides and hydroxides of calcium, silicon, magnesium, iron, aluminum and rule, comprise limestone.
